ARTIST BIO

Holly was born and raised in Venango County, graduated from Franklin Area High School, then earned degrees at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in Liberal Studies, Applied Technology and Art History. She has spent her entire life in Venango County, working in and later starting two businesses here, raised three children here, and enjoys showing her seven grandchildren all that this beautiful county has to offer.

She co-owns two local businesses: Gibbons Business Solutions, LLC (a Marketing and Business Consulting company) and Porch Music Store, LLC (an instrument maker and retailer with music lesson studios), both located in Franklin. She is also starting a new venture, Artist’s Attic, LLC, a fine art and art supply retailer and art workshop venue.

One of her greatest passions is photography. She also loves nature and to bike, hike, and kayak, so you are likely to find her taking photos on our beautiful trails and waterways with friends or family, year-round. She uses the camera to record moments of exceptional light, shadow, and color in the local landscape. As a life-long resident, she is familiar with the special places and the best views in Venango County.

Holly had a studio at the Transit Studios for several years and was the second artist recruited for that facility. She has entered, judged, and chaired many local photography & art shows and is a proponent of the arts and art education and participation for all ages.
